Rishab Shetty masters horse riding, Kalaripayattu & sword fighting for ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’

Audiences are eagerly waiting to experience ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ on the big screens, and every update on the most awaited second installment is raising the expectation levels for this intense drama movie. Now the latest update reveals that the National Award winner Rishab Shetty has gone to extreme levels of dedication, especially for a war sequence in the upcoming movie.

According to the reports, Rishab Shetty underwent several months of preparation for a war sequence in Kantara: Chapter 1, and the film is currently shooting. Reportedly the war sequence includes horse riding, Kalaripayattu, and sword fighting, all of which the actor has learned.


With this new update, it’s sure that ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ will be a one-of-a-kind experience. The film is set in the Kadamba period in Karnataka. For the unversed, the Kadambas were significant rulers of parts of Karnataka and played a major role in shaping the architecture and culture of the region. That period was known to be a Golden Period of Indian History.
