Mammootty completed 50 years at the movies very recently and the whole internet rejoiced over the actor's grand milestone. From his peers such as

Mohanlal to millions of fans across the world, congratulatory messages came pouring in for Mammootty who gleefully accepted all the love and later responded with gratitude. One such display of affection came from one of his former co-stars, and current Member of Parliament,
Sumalatha Ambareesh
who took to Twitter earlier today to congratulate Mammootty on his staggering career and also wish him many more successful years at the business.
"@mammukka Wishing you many more successful years, you deserve all the accolades and you certainly don't need any more awards to validate your skill/strength at your craft, thanks to Google found a few images of movies out of so many movies we had done, Stay blessed always," wrote Sumalatha Ambareesh in her wee-hour tweet.
