Actor Vinayakan arrested for drunken misconduct at hotel, later released on bail

Malayalam actor Vinayakan was arrested on Thursday (May 8) for allegedly creating a public nuisance under the influence of alcohol. The incident occurred at a hotel in Anchalummoodu, Kollam, where the actor had been staying since May 2 for a film shoot. According to police, Vinayakan caused a scene during checkout, prompting hotel authorities to alert law enforcement.Actor Detained for Disorderly Behaviour While Intoxicated“He was very drunk and was shouting at everyone, even the police,” said an officer from Anchalummoodu police station, as reported by Indian Express.The actor was taken for a medical check-up and then brought to the station, where a case was registered under Section 118(a) of the Kerala Police Act — pertaining to public intoxication.
