Asif Ali seems to be the favourite pick of debutant directors these days.
After winning hearts as a clueless romantic in Khalid Rahman's first movie,
Anuraga Karikkin Vellam
, the actor has now signed two more projects with debutant filmmakers.
The latest film will be directed by Arouz Irfan, who has scripted and written dialogues for Jayasurya's latest action comedy.
Arouz tells us, 'Asif has committed to the project which will be a love story. As of now, we are in the preliminary stages of the project and have not finalised on the rest of the cast or other aspects. But the movie is expected to go on floors early next year.' Najeem Koya, who had scripted Two Countries and Friday, will be the scriptwriter for the movie.
The actor's second project, titled Thrissivaperoor Kliptham has him teaming up with
Maheshinte Prathikaram
fame
Aparna Balamurali. The movie will be directed by Ratheish Kumar.
