‘Grrr’ OTT release: Kunchacko Boban - Suraj Venjaramoodu starrer to start digital streaming on THIS date

The Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu starrer ‘Grrr’ is all set to make its digital debut.

The comedy drama film, which opened to mixed reviews, is scheduled to start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from August 20, 2024.


Grrr is a comedy-drama that unfolds in an unusual setting—the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo. The plot revolves around Rejimon, a young man who, in a drunken state, leaps into the lion’s den, creating chaos. Suraj Venjaramoodu plays Haridas, a zoo officer tasked with rescuing Rejimon before the arrival of the police and fire departments.

The movie directed by Jay K also features a talented ensemble cast including Shruti Ramachandran, Alencier Ley Lopez, and Rajesh Madhavan, among others.Despite the intriguing premise and strong performances, ‘Grrr’ struggled to leave a significant mark at the box office and received only average reviews from critics and audiences alike.

On the other hand, Suraj Venjaramoodu’s recent outings ‘Nadanna Sambhavam’ and ‘Adios Amigo’ also received mediocre reviews from the audiences. Kunchacko Boban’s previous film ‘Chaaver’ also failed to impress the audiences.
