Jagathy Sreekumar to appear in Mammootty's 'CBI5'

Jagathy Sreekumar too will be appearing in the upcoming film! Yes, that's right! According to the latest reports, Jagathy Sreekumar will be seen in
CBI 5
.
Jagathy Sreekumar has been away from showbiz after encountering an accident in 2012. However, the actor had appeared in an advertisement last year, and CBI5 will mark his re-entry into movies.
If reports are to be believed, the makers have decided to film Jagathy Sreekumar's portions at his residence in Trivandrum, considering the veteran actor's health. Jagathy Sreekumar had appeared in all the past installments of the investigative thriller and the recent news had cheered fans and cinephiles alike who are awaiting the upcoming film.
Tentatively titled ‘CBI5’, the film is helmed by
K Madhu
and scripted by SN Swamy, the dynamic duo who had previously worked in all the past four movies - ‘Oru CBI Diary Kurippu’, ‘Jagratha’, ‘Sethurama Iyer CBI’, and, ‘Nerariyan CBI’. Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, the writer had shared, “One of the highlights of the film will be basket killings. I can’t reveal what it is right now, as it’s a suspense element.”
Apart from Mammootty, Mukesh, and Jagathy Sreekumar, the film will also have actors Renji Panicker, Soubin Shahir, Asha Sharath, and Sai Kumar in pivotal roles.
