Narain are reuniting for the upcoming film ‘Queen Elizabeth’ directed by M Padmakumar. The film was launched on Monday, and the lead actors took part in the puja and switch on ceremony, which was held in Kochi.
Meera Jasmine is excited to reunite with Narain, with whom she has delivered several memorable films including 'Achuvinte Amma', 'Minnaminnikoottam', and ‘Ore Kadal’.
Post the switch on ceremony of ‘Queen Elizabeth’, the actress posted pictures on social media of her with her co-star Narain and said, “The warmth of home coming and reminiscing on friendships that have lasted a lifetime. Such an amazing experience to reunite with for Shri ’s Queen Elizabeth. Looking forward to this journey as we tell this unassuming tale.”

Helmed by M Padmakumar ‘Queen Elizabeth’ features Meera Jasmine and Narain in the lead roles. The film has gone on floors and is said to have some of the talented actors in pivotal roles including
Shweta Menon, Ramesh Pisharody, VK Prakash, Shyamaprasad, Johnny Antony, Mallika Sukumaran, Jude Anthony Joseph, Arya, Shruti Rajinikanth, Sania Babu, Neena Kurup, Manju Patros, Vineeth, Vishwam, Ranji Kangol and Chitra Nair. Written by Arjun T Satyan, ‘Queen Elizabeth’ is touted to be a family drama with a relevant social message. Kochi, Kuttikanam, and Coimbatore are the major locations of the film.
On the technical front, the cinematography is done by Jithu Damodar, and Akhilesh Mohan is the editor. The music and background scores are done by Ranjin Raj. M Bava is the art director.
