Rima Kallingal welcomes Renji Panicker's confession about scripting dialogues derogating women

WCC member and actress, Rima Kallingal has welcomed script writer Renji Panicker's confession that he is guilty of scripting dialogues that derogate women in the past.
Rima in her Facebook post, shared the photo of the Times of India interview with Renji Panicker, in which the veteran script writer, director and actor has denounced his own scripts that were gender and caste insensitive.Rima in her post says that this is a new beginning , to unlearn what is being injected over the years and wrote that all art needs to be scrutinized over and over again with time.

Renji Panicker, in the interview given to the Times of India, has said that he regrets writing gender and caste insensitive dialogues which were once popular among masses and are now being criticised by the same people who once enjoyed it.
