Musskan Sethi spilled beans on how she got her debut Punjabi movie and said that she didn’t plan to be a part of Pollywood, nonetheless it came as a great coincident.
“I guess Pollywood choose me since I am a Punjabi”, said the actress cracking into a light giggle. “Pankaj sir (
Pankaj Batra), who is an ace director in Punjab, saw one of my auditions and called me. He explained to me the character and I was so impressed by the narration. On top of it, ‘High End Yarriyaan’ was a whole deal with an A-lister director, shoot in London, such amazing cast, I was just overwhelmed.” added the actress.
Further, the actress also said that playing a modern girl who is full desi at heart is something she could resonate with. “My character is from London, who visits her kin at the village for a wedding, and since it’s her first time in a desi locale, she is all fascinated by the vibe. At the same time, my on-screen self is someone who though studied in London, is very desi at heart, approach. She is grounded, too attached to her family, and this is what I am in real life as well.”
