Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu team fly to Hyderabad

One of the most awaited film is director Venkat Prabhu's 'Maanaadu' starring Silambarasan TR and Kalyani Priyadarshini in the lead. While the team had wrapped a schedule in Chennai recently, they have now flown to Hyderabad yesterday and the shooting is set to start today in the city.
We had earlier reported that the team will be camping in Hyderabad for about 40 days and after that they will be shooting some portions in Coimbatore.The film bankrolled by Suresh Kamatchi under the banner V House Productions also has SA Chandrasekar, Bharathiraja, Karunakaran and Premji in important roles.
Producer Suresh Kamatchi tweeted a selfie on their way to the location with the film's principal cast and crew members, including SJ Suryah, Karunakaran, Manoj P. Bharathiraja and Premgi.

Touted to be an political-thriller, the film marks the the STR and Venkat Prabhu’s first collaboration in their long careers. Silambarasan TR is playing a muslim character in the film for the first time in his long career. He will be essaying the role of Abdul Khaaliq, the protagonist.
