Suriya’s sister Brindha makes her singing debut in ‘Mr Chandramouli’

The makers of

‘Mr Chandramouli’

hosted a big audio launch in Chennai recently. Touted to be the first major event after the strike, the event saw the presence of a host of celebrities like Suriya, Vishal, Arya, Vijay Antony and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj among others. Composed by Sam CS of

‘Vikram Vedha’

fame, ‘Mr Chandramouli’ has six songs, which were unveiled at the event.


What’s interesting about ‘Mr Chandramouli’ is that Suriya’s sister Brindha Sivakumar has made her singing debut and has sung the title track along with Sam CS. At the event, Brindha thanked produced Dhananjayan and the director for giving her the opportunity to showcase her talent.

Reportedly, the makers are planning to release the film onMay 25 and also requested the Tamil Film Producers’ Council President Vishal for the same.

Starring Gautham Karthik and his father Karthik Muthuraman in the lead, ‘Mr Chandramouli’ is tipped to be a thriller and is being produced by Dhananjayan. Later in the day, actor R Madhavan will reportedly unveil the trailer of the film.

Directed by Thiru, the film also stars Regina Cassandra, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Sathish in prominent roles.
