They might have been shooting for a thriller, but
Sundeep Kishan and
Indrajith
made sure they had their share of fun on the set of 'Naragasooran'. Even if it involved playing a prank on
Aathmika and scaring the living daylights out of her. The duo, who recently wrapped up shooting for the film in Ooty, apparently succeeded in convincing the actress that the hotel room she was put up in was haunted!
Sundeep says, “Recently, it so happened that Indrajith and Aathmika had packed up and I had to shoot some scenes even after that. So, they went back to their respective rooms and I stayed back on location. It’s almost a ritual for us to dine together, and that night, too, they went to the restaurant for dinner. I wrapped up my shoot sooner than expected and headed to my room. Once there, I called Indrajith and we decided to play a prank on her. According to our plan, Indrajith told Aathmika that he was going back to his room, but once she had locked the door of her room, he came over to my place. I then quietly went and knocked on her door and rang the bell at regular intervals.”
Sundeep had told Aathmika that the place was haunted and on earlier occasions, tried scaring her by ringing the doorbell. “However, she thought I was lying and never trusted my story. But since she believed that I was still at the shooting spot, she freaked out when she heard noises outside her door. She bought the theory that I fed her long back and called the hotel staff. It was only when the entire staff assembled there, trying to figure out what had happened, that Indrajith and I came out of my room. I was literally on the floor, laughing hard. She was quite upset, but she, too, joined us later and found the whole thing funny,” he chuckles.
The film, directed by
Karthick Naren, also stars
Arvind Swami and Shriya in the lead.
