The director says selecting the location to shoot this project took four to five months, as they had to consider variations in waves, tides, and depth. “Eventually, we chose Kulasekhara patnam near Tuticorin. But shooting in the middle of the sea still proved to be a huge challenge. We even had to cancel shoot for seven days,” informs the filmmaker.

To ensure safety, they took fishermen along with them. “In fact, during the shooting, Yogi Babu slipped and fell into the sea, but surprised us with his swimming skills. This inspired me to go for realistic shots,” he states.
