Today on January 11, 2025, it is reported that Allu Arjun has been exempted from appearing at the Chikkadapally police station every Sunday, a request made by his legal team due to security concerns. Additionally, he has been granted permission to travel abroad.

The stampede took place on December 4, 2024, at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad when a massive crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun. The situation escalated when he stepped out of his car to greet fans, resulting in chaos that led to the death of a 35-year-old woman named Revathi and serious injuries to her eight-year-old son, who remains hospitalized.

Following the incident, Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 and was initially remanded to 14 days of judicial custody. He was granted interim bail shortly after his arrest and later received regular bail on January 3, 2025, after appearing via video conference in court. The court had previously mandated that he report to the police station every Sunday until further notice.
