With the outbreak of coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown in the country, celebrities are making most of their free time at home by reading, cooking, indoor workouts, playing board games, eating one’s favourite snacks or catching up on hobbies. Taking to E Times in an exclusive chat, Shiva Kandukuri opened up on his daily activity in these lockdown times.

“I hope all the people are staying safe at their houses. Personally, I have been spending some quality time with my family members. I am busy watching all the films that I’ve missed out in the theaters on OTT platforms. I’ve also been exploring world cinema and the current show which I’m tuned in is the South Korean drama ‘Stranger’. Recently, I wrapped up viewing Malayalam films like

Driving Licence

and Ayyappanum Koshiyum,” said the engineer-turned-actor.

“Besides my regular workouts, I have developed a new hobby of cooking. I am trying to prepare one new dish every night. I hope everyone stays safe and healthy during these hard times and come back strong,” adds Shiva.

Shiva Kandukuri wrapped up his higher studies in the United States and interned for nine months in a local company. He came back to India and expressed his interest to act in films. After undergoing auditions for close to two weeks, he was finalised by director Sesha Sindhu to play the lead. An ardent fan of Chiranjeevi, Shiva will be playing a cricketer in his next film. Directed by Srujana Rao with music by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, the sports-based project will feature Shriya Saran in a pivotal role.
