Malavika Mohanan shares excitement for 'Yudhra'; Says, 'nice for an actor to be a part of so many versatile films'

Malavika Mohanan, who is celebrating the success of Tamil film 'Thangalaan', is now gearing up for her next big release, 'Yudhra'. This action thriller will see Malavika paired opposite Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi. The film is set to hit theatres on September 20, and is expected to have Malavika in a completely new avatar.

In a recent interview with News18, Malavika shared her excitement about 'Yudhra'. She revealed that the film will be vastly different from her previous release, 'Thangalaan', which has been a box office success.

While 'Thangalaan' was a gritty drama set in pre-Independence India at the Kolar Gold Fields, 'Yudhra' will be an action-packed romantic drama, showcasing Malavika in a way audiences have never seen before.

She said, "We will just put out the trailer in a few days. In comparison to Thangalaan, it is a whole different world. That’s also exciting for me. All of these roles are so different from each other that it is nice for an actor to be a part of so many versatile films. I hope more makers see me so that they see how I fit into different roles." The trailer of 'Yudhra' will release on August 29th, 2024.
