Ram Charan's upcoming pan-India film 'Peddi,' directed by Buchi Babu Sana's first look poster was released on his birthday on March 27. The actor was seen in a rugged and intense avatar.
Upcoming shot announcement
Recently, the makers shared the first-shot video glimpse of 'Peddi,' which is set to release on April 6, coinciding with Sri Rama Navami. The announcement poster features Ram Charan taking a dramatic leap amidst hundreds of extras waving flags.
As per a report in Gulte, producer Ravi raised expectations by claiming that this particular shot would be so captivating that fans would watch it "a thousand times."

The makers on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "#PeddiFirstShot—Glimpse video out on 6th April on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami. Team #PEDDI wishes you a very happy Ugadi."
About the film
'Peddi' is a village-based sports action drama that promises to showcase Ram Charan in a never-before-seen avatar. The film revolves around native sports like power cricket, wrestling, and kabaddi, with Charan portraying an expert athlete. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar plays his coach.
First glimpse
The poster released on Ram Charan's birthday depicts him in a fierce and raw look, sporting messy hair, a wild beard, and a striking nose ring. In one image, he is seen smoking a cigar while wearing a striped red-and-blue shirt. Another poster shows him holding an old cricket bat with anger in his eyes in a rustic village stadium illuminated by floodlights.

Janhvi Kapoor stars alongside Charan in her second Tollywood project after 'Devara.' The film also features Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma, of 'Mirzapur' fame, in pivotal roles. The music of the film is composed by A.R. Rahman.
Ram Charan was last seen in 'Game Changer,' a political drama directed by S. Shankar. Although 'Game Changer' did not fare well at the box office, Ram Charan's performance was praised.
