'Concerned over situation in Gaza, important that all hostages are released': India

'HELL For Hostages': Israelis ERUPT Against Own Military & Netanyahu Over Israel's Gaza Bombardment
India on Wednesday said it is "concerned over the situation in Gaza" and called for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the conflict-affected Palestinian territory. These statement came as Israel resumed air strikes, raising uncertainty over the fragile ceasefire agreement reached with Hamas in January.
"We are concerned at the situation in Gaza. It is important that all hostages are released. We also call for supply of humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza to be sustained", the ministry of external affairs said in a statement.
The Hamas-operated health ministry reported that Israeli bombing resulted in over 400 fatalities.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) disclosed its engagement in "extensive strikes on terror targets belonging to Hamas" in the Gaza Strip.
The IDF stated, "In accordance with the political echelon, the IDF and ISA are currently conducting extensive strikes on terror targets belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip."
The Israel Prime Minister's Office explained via X that the strikes were initiated following directives from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz. This action was taken due to Hamas's continuous refusal to free hostages and its rejection of proposals from US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and other mediators.
"Israel will, from now on, act against Hamas with increasing military strength. The operational plan was presented by the IDF over the weekend and approved by the political leadership," the Prime Minister's Office wrote on X.
