Did doctors make a mistake in making Mamata wait for 2 hours?

The last-minute refusal by agitating doctors to meet the West Bengal CM, after making her wait for nearly two hours, brought Mamata to almost step down. This was the third attempt in three days by the state government to break the stalemate

It will not be an easy day to forget for Mamata Banerjee. On September 12, the West Bengal chief minister sat for almost two hours at Nabanna Sabhaghar (state secretariat) in the company of vacant chairs waiting to meet the striking resident doctors from state-run hospitals who refused to enter the auditorium because the government did not allow them to livestream the meeting.
The doctors state that their livestream demand was to ensure more transparency, but the government insisted that since the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital rape and murder case is a sub-judice matter, it will not be possible to telecast it.
