NEW DELHI: Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 17 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in the state of Telangana. It comprises seven Assembly segments including Kodangal, Narayanpet, Mahbubnagar, Jadcherla, Devarkadra, Makthal and Shadnagar.

Main partiesThe Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) in 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Telangana had won 9 of the 17 seats, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won four seats, Congress 3 and Asaduddin Owaisi was the only AIMIM candidate to emerge victorious from his Hyderabad constituency.
In the 2023 assembly elections Congress won 64 seats, BRS won 39 seats, BJP 8 and AIMIM got 7 seats. CPI won 1 seat.
Lok Sabha 2019 electionsIn the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, the Mahbubnagar parliamentary constituency had a total of 1,506,102 eligible voters, with 984,634 valid votes cast. Manne Srinivas Reddy, representing the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), emerged victorious with a total of 411,402 votes. Meanwhile, Aruna D K, the candidate from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), secured second place with 333,573 votes, trailing by a margin of 77,829 votes.
Voting date and resultThe 17 constituencies in Telangana are scheduled to go to poll on May 13 in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 with over 3.17 crore voters eligible to cast their votes.
