NEW DELHI: Nagarkurnool Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 17 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in the state of Telangana. It comprises seven Assembly segments including Wanaparthy, Gadwal, Alampur, Nagarkurnool, Achampet, Kalwakurthy and Kollapur.

Main partiesThe Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) in 2019 had won 9 of the 17 seats, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won four seats, Congress 3 and Asaduddin Owaisi was the only AIMIM candidate to emerge victorious from his Hyderabad constituency.
In the 2023 assembly elections Congress won 64 seats, BRS won 39 seats, BJP 8 and AIMIM got 7 seats. CPI won 1 seat.
TRS and Congress are the main parties in the constituency.
Lok Sabha 2019 election resultIn 2019, the Nagarkurnool parliamentary constituency witnessed a total of 1,588,111 eligible voters, with 989,847 valid votes cast. Pothuganti Ramulu, representing the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, emerged victorious with a total of 499,672 votes. Meanwhile, Dr. Mallu Ravi, the candidate from the Indian National Congress, secured second place with 309,924 votes, trailing by 189,748 votes.
Voting date and resultThe 17 constituencies in Telangana are scheduled to go to poll on May 13 in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 with over 3.17 crore voters eligible to cast their votes.
