NCP (SP) president Sharad Pawar, and Priyanka Chaturvedi and Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena (UBT) won't be able to go to Rajya Sabha now. Pawar and Chaturvedi were elected to the six-year term on April 3, 2020, while Raut was elected in July 2022.
While the tenure of both Pawar and Chaturvedi ends on April 3, 2026, Raut's tenure will come to an end on July 22, 2028. Pawar had earlier declared that it will be his last term as a member of RS.
