Parineeti Chopra recently flew to New Delhi to join her husband, Raghav Chadha, and his family for the festivities. She kicked off the celebrations by showcasing her minimalist Mehendi design on her Instagram stories. The delicate patterns, featuring cute heart motifs on the back of her palms, captured the spirit of the occasion. Alongside her Mehendi, she also shared images of her beautifully decorated home, illuminated for the festival, adding a festive charm to her celebrations.
Shilpa Shetty also joined in the excitement by sharing a sneak peek of her ‘sargi,’ a pre-dawn meal enjoyed by women on Karwa Chauth. Her beautifully arranged platter included a silver plate with small bowls, a decorated sieve, Mehendi cones, green bangles, and a traditional shagun envelope, along with clothes, jewelry, and a variety of sweet and savory snacks. Her post highlighted the rich traditions associated with the festival, showcasing the love and care that goes into these preparations.
Sonam Kapoor also shared pictures of her Mehendi, citing she doesn't fast but enjoys the food and the mehendi.
Adding to the festive spirit, Bhagyashree shared a joyous clip from a Mehendi party hosted by a close friend. She flaunted her simple Henna design and lively dance moves, encapsulating the fun and camaraderie of the event. Capturing the essence of the celebration, she wrote, “Mehndi party with the gang! Oh what fun it was, we ate, we danced, we indulged in ourselves... that one evening when it was all about US!”
