It may look all salt and pepper to you, but a single grey hair strand can lead to many, causing an issue for your everyday look. Follow these dos and don’ts to bid goodbye to premature grey hair.
Plucking grey hair is never a good idea, as it increases the number of traumatising cuticles, which is not an ideal choice. Plucking can cause the new grey strand to grow back, making it stick out like a sore thumb.
In a mad rush to cover your grey hair, do not damage it with ammonia, as it damages the roots and can also lead to dry and brittle ends. Choose between permanent or semi-permanent dyes and see the difference.
People often blame the genes and environment and ignore the grey strands. But it can be caused by iron or zinc deficiency, which requires the consultancy and guidance of a doctor or nutritionist.
It is never a good idea to use the same shampoo that leads to no change. Therefore, change the course and try a new oil or shampoo that truly works for your hair, scalp, and strands.

Twice or thrice a week, massage your hair with coconut oil into your scalp. Wash with a mild shampoo in the morning, and add three teaspoons of squeezed lemon juice while massaging your hair strands.
Massage your hair and scalp with pure ghee or clarified butter, and sleep with a hair cap on to avoid staining. Next, wash your hair with a mild shampoo and notice the change within weeks.
Amla treats several hair and scalp problems and promotes hair growth, dark hair, a clear scalp, and a shiny overall gloss. Add a tablespoon of fenugreek powder with amla juice and leave it on overnight. Shampoo the next morning and follow this process twice a week.
