Bollywood’s Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra teaches us to keep our face hydrated at 30,000 feet above sea level, making us understand that our face goes through changes under humidity and pressure when we’re travelling on a flight. Sharing her travel beauty secrets, let us explore the contents of the diva's travel makeup vanity.
Washing your face inside an aeroplane is an invitation to a clumsy, bumpy ride. Therefore, you can instead carry a small bottle of micellar water and wipe your face clean with cotton pads that will make you feel refreshed.
Whether you’re sleeping or reading inside the aircraft, it is the perfect time to retain moisture and hydrate your face. Opt for a mask having hyaluronic acid, glycerine, and aloe vera and fight your puffy eyes and bumpy skin.
We usually skip the use of toner, but it helps in tightening the pores and gives a refreshed look, holding the essence of your face mask.
Carry a small version of your serum and apply 2-3 drops of it. Opt for a vitamin C serum, which is the safest to use while travelling and will keep you away from small acne bumps and redness and will soothe your skin.
Carry a mild ceramide-based moisturiser that will keep your skin hydrated and protect your skin barrier. Make sure your moisturiser has hyaluronic acid, glycerine, shea butter, and ceramides.
It is imperative to always wear sunscreen, regardless of the time or location. When you’re in the air, sunscreen becomes more important, as the UV-A radiations have a much higher intensity and call for better protection.
To make sure your lips also remain soft and plump, carry a hydrating lip balm throughout the journey just like our Desi Girl does.
Carry facial wet wipes at all times to avoid applying dirty travelling hands on your face, which can lead to travel breakouts and acne.
