Unlimited harvest

In the indoor and outdoor plant arena, there are some plant seeds that only need to be sown once, and once they start leafing, the supply is endless for years! Here we mention 8 plant seeds that need to be sown once and then can be harvested for years with the right care.

Mint

Mint is a fast-growing herb that spreads easily, and once planted, it continues to grow year after year in the right conditions. Mint can be grown with either seeds or with a healthy cutting, and everytime you harvest it, it will grow right back.

Lemongrass

Lemongrass too can be planted once and then harvested for seasons before it goes dry. With the right warm conditions and good watering, Lemongrass will continue to grow in pots or directly in soil for years.

Dhaniya

Coriander, or Dhaniya, is another herb that can be grown endlessly with both seeds and cuttings. No matter how much you harvest, if you keep feeding the plant with water, ample sunlight, and a good fertiliser once in a while, the leaves will keep growing.

Curry leaves

Curry leaves can also be grown year after year, with the same plant. Once the curry leaves start blooming, harvest them not from the node, but from the tip of the stem, and soon they will regrow.

Rosemary

Rosemary is a favourite herb for many and can be used in soups, curries, for flavouring the butter, and much more. And Rosemary too, while a little high maintenance, when grown once can be propagated for years.
