Your finances

One thing that should be kept private at all times, and only shared with the select few, are your finances. Your SIP, funds, income, taxes, and whatnot. All of it should be in the safekeep of your mind.

Issues with family

The only people who deserve to know your family issues are either your therapist, or someone who is a part of the family. The more you tell, the more the news will spread for rumours and gossips.

Problems in the relationship

The problems in your relationship should also only be shared with your partner, or your counsellor. It is best to not involve anyone else as advices can be diverse and it will end up confusing you even more.

Future goals

There is a lot of energy associated with every goal and ambition you have in life. And as per beliefs, when you share too much about the future with someone, it could attract their jealous energies or something more sinister.

Helping hand

The best help is the one that is not talked about and is done in silence. So if you help someone, be it charity, donation, or even as little as good advice, keep it to yourself and don’t seek validation or praise for it.

Mistakes and regrets

Beliefs and values

It is normal and natural to have strong beliefs and values, but the world we live in today is not always very appreciative of them. So try to keep your beliefs private, especially when in an unknown gathering.

Health issues

The only person who should know your medical history is your doctor and your immediate family. Be it a major surgery, or a minor fracture, simply just keep it to yourself.

Passwords

Sometimes in a dare or as a joke people share their passwords with someone else. It could be OTPs, PINs, or even some documents. It is extremely dangerous to do this and could lead to identity theft and losses.

Rumours and gossips

If you heard some rumour or gossip, try to keep it to yourself as much as possible. Why? Because if someone takes your name as the gossip monger, you will be held at trial, not the person who told you first.
