NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Friday announced a full refund for tickets purchased for their scheduled home match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday, May 10, following the one-week suspension of IPL 2025 due to rising military tensions between India and Pakistan."In light of the current situation, #TATAIPL2025 has been suspended with immediate effect.Ticket refund details will be communicated shortly," SRH posted on their official social media handle. The game was set to be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SRH, led by Australian skipper Pat Cummins, are already out of playoff contention, sitting eighth on the table with just seven points from 11 games. Their campaign has included seven losses and one no result.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the suspension on Friday, citing national security concerns following missile strikes in response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives. A match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals was also abandoned mid-way on Thursday.
