"He’s low IQ": Taylor Swift dragged into controversy over her relationship with Travis Kelce after Stephen A. Smith’s remarks are slammed by fans

Taylor Swift is one of the most famous and talented pop stars in the world currently and her relationship with the NFL star, Travis Kelce, has been in the news ever since the two started dating. The two have been together for close to two years even though they are maintaining a low profile currently. However, a few controversial statements has angered their fans.


Recently, sportscaster Stephen A Smith made a few controversial statements on Taylor Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Stephen A Smith said, "Travis Kelce has loved a lot of ladies. But Taylor Swift is a different animal…She looks good, she’s incredibly talented and she’s worth about a billion. We’re going to guess a ‘yes,’ on this one.”
But this has not gone down well with fans. A fan took to X and wrote, “Yeah I didn’t really care for how Stephen A was talking about them. Weird comments about Travis having a lot of women and mentioning Taylor being a billionaire 🙄 “
Another fan wrote, “The worst part is Stephen’s reason for Travis to marry Taylor: “she’s worth about a billion”. But it’s not surprising: almost (not all) the whole NFL and its media sees her as a lucrative asset for its organization.”
Many fans also slammed Stephen A Smith for referring to Taylor Swift as an “animal”. A fan wrote, “Calling a woman an animal is really not it. And folllowing by implying that the other women he dated are ugly..?🤢 That's disgusting. I hope she gets his a**.”

Another fan wrote, “Stephen is another low IQ hotdog and lemming.” Neither Travis Kelce nor Taylor Swift have addressed Stephen A Smith’s speculations yet.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are close to completing two years and the two are very much in love with each other despite the trolling they received at the Super Bowl.
Travis Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, were expected to win the trophy but unfortunately they were left defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles. Along with the heartbreaking loss, Travis Kelce also watched his girlfriend, Taylor Swift get booed at the match.
A few days later, according to DailyMail.com, a source revealed, “Seeing the look on her face got to him. He always protects her and it broke his heart”.
Neither Taylor Swift nor Travis Kelce have made any public appearances since the drama at the Super Bowl 2025 and fans are pretty worried about them.
