In her latest episode, Kylie Kelce shared a viral TikTok video that perfectly summed up the struggle of being 38 weeks pregnant. The clip, originally posted by John Hartman1, showed a woman choosing to cut off her underwear rather than go through the ordeal of bending over to remove it. At first, Kylie found it hilarious. But then? She admitted that the struggle is very real.
“Oh, people, this is absurd… but I’m going to let you know my own comments. Power to you, girl,” she said, laughing. While Kylie hasn’t gone as far as cutting her underwear off, she’s definitely had moments where she simply opted out of dealing with restrictive clothing altogether. “There have been some ridiculous times that I’ve had during pregnancy that are similar to this,” she continued. “I can’t say that I’ve ever cut off my underwear. Um, but I have had times where I will disappear and come back in like, a robe or a dress.” And Jason Kelce? Completely confused. “I have to explain to him (Jason) that the feeling of anything touching my belly in a restrictive way, AKA a band from pants or underwear, is too much to bear.”
But Kylie’s honesty didn’t stop there. While sharing these lighthearted moments, she also got real about the bigger pregnancy struggles, like the relentless discomfort that has many moms-to-be frantically searching for ways to induce labor.

Kylie’s advice on inducing labor: What works and what to avoid

For all the expecting moms out there hoping to speed things up, Kylie shared some valuable insights straight from her obstetricians. She listed common labor-inducing methods, including drinking herbal teas, eating dates, acupuncture, and spicy food. But she had one major warning: stay away from castor oil.
“I will say my OBs have explicitly told me no castor oil,” she cautioned. “So if that comes up on your induction suggestions, the ways to induce labor at home: OPT-OUT.” And the reason? Kylie kept it real. “I was told it makes labor messy. Ain’t nobody got time for that.”
