Carroll’s bold vision to turn Raiders around

Crosby couldn’t hide his enthusiasm when he shared the message Carroll delivered to the team, one that deeply resonated with him. "The main things that [Carroll] talked about is, we're going right now," Crosby said, speaking to NFL.com. "We're not wasting time. That's the one thing he mentioned to me after his press conference. We're going to get this thing rolling. So, it's exciting. That's my mentality every year. I want to win every year. That's the competition in me, and I see that in him. I feel like everybody, from the new ownership group, from [owner] Mark [Davis], everybody's on the same mindset when it comes to attacking this new regime." (via: si.com)

That message speaks volumes about Carroll’s intentions for the Raiders. From the very first moment he took the podium, he made it clear: the rebuilding process starts now. At his introductory press conference, Carroll boldly declared, "We’re starting right now and going for it immediately." No waiting. No excuses. A direct commitment to winning, right from the start.

Can Crosby spark Raiders’ turnaround with Carroll?

For Crosby, this mentality is exactly what the Raiders need. Having been with the team since 2019, Crosby has experienced just one winning season, which came back in 2021. The team’s struggles have been painfully clear, especially after a dismal 4–13 season. But Crosby is not one to back down from adversity. As a four-time Pro Bowler, he knows how to compete at the highest level, and he’s ready for a culture change in the locker room. With Carroll’s leadership, Crosby believes success is within reach.
