The Kansas City Chiefs have brought home 2 Super Bowls back to back. This would be their third. Some NFL players don’t want that to happen. In that, comes the cornerback for the Baltimore Ravens, Marlon Humphrey.
Looks like the Kansas City Chiefs—or should we say, quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ or
Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs—are in for some trouble. Trouble from the Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey. He took to his X account and staunchly petitioned to defeat the Chiefs.
“I have no reason of saying this other than being a hater.” shares cornerback Marlon Humphrey on his X platform
So, you hate the Chiefs. So, you feel bad to be out of the league. So, you want the Bills to defeat the Chiefs. So, you want anyone from the NFC team to beat the Chiefs? Okay. Let the Chiefs make a note of it.
Marlon’s X read: “I have no reason of saying this other than being a hater. The Bills or whatever NFC team gotta beat the Chiefs. We can’t let them keep getting away with this”
Fans swamped Marlon’s X post with versatile responses
An X user with over 11K views, wrote: “Teams have to go up 2 scores or the NFL will ensure KC wins it. the only way they lose is if teams beat the refs. its not even about beating KC anymore”
Another X user who could be a Chiefs fan, wrote, “Kinda pathetic to root for the team that’s just sent you home 😂 explains their team perfectly”
A third X user did not just correct Marlon’s grammar but also slighted him. The user wrote, “What do you mean “we” aren’t you🫵🏼 the football player that’s supposed to stop him😭”
Marlon has a history of hatred against the Chiefs
“I pray for this, to go against him (Travis Kelce) because he has tried to take it all from me. He has got to pay. He has got to pay for what he has done to the podcast space. How he has tried to eliminate us…and, honestly, I don’t care who (
Taylor Swift) he’s dating,” shared Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey in his Punch Line podcast show in September 2024.

The Kelce Brothers - Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce had signed off a $100 million deal with Amazon. Humphrey felt because Kelce signed off this deal, he was trying to eliminate other podcasts. Humphrey even said he didn't care about Travis Kelce dating Taylor Swift and that his podcast was a hit because of Taylor's fame.
