Wes Bergmann, most famously spotted on The Traitors and The Real World, made headlines recently after speaking out on the celebrity romance between Kansas City Chiefs tight end
Travis Kelce and pop icon Taylor Swift. A neighbor of Kelce's, Bergmann was privy to inside information, but wishes now he hadn't spilled the beans that spread like wildfire on social media.
His comments regarding the romance of the couple initiated massive debate, and people not just from the fans but also media were paying attention. Although he might not have expected the degree of reaction that his words would elicit, Bergmann today admits that commenting so freely about Kelce and Swift's personal life might not have been his wisest choice.
Who is Wes Bergmann?
Wes Bergmann made his first splash in the public eye in 2005 as a cast member on MTV's The Real World: Austin at Arizona State University. His first experience with going viral was when fellow contestant Wren slapped him after he let it slip they had been intimate.
Bergmann has been a household name in reality TV over the years, especially for his regular appearances in several seasons of The Challenge and its spin-offs. He also appeared in House of Villains and Worst Cooks in America and worked behind the camera for the business competition show The Blox. He most recently appeared in the cast of The Traitors (US) for its third season, solidifying his place in the entertainment industry.

Bergmann, who shares the same neighborhood with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, regrets sharing information about Kelce's relationship with Taylor Swift. Bergmann discussed living in a gated community in Leawood, Kansas City with Kelce, highlighting how the exclusivity of the residential area made it easy to notice their dating relationship.
“I was like the first person to know about any of this stuff,” he claimed, before boasting, “I beat the validating of [Swift] showing up to games and stuff by like six months.” Fans disapproved of Bergmann's sharing of private details about Kelce and Swift's romance, leading him to apologize on Twitter. “I’m so sorry and confused,” he wrote, admitting that the information he shared was “none of my business”.
