Former WWE Star Sonya Deville Shares Working Experience under Triple H and Vince McMahon

Former WWE Champion Sonya Deville who was released from WWE in their latest round of talent cuts after being associated with wrestling for 10 years has shared her experience during Triple H’s regime.
During her decade-long journey with WWE, she had the privilege to experience the creative differences between Vince McMahon and Triple H. While Triple H is currently the creative head of WWE, on the other hand, Vince McMahon retired after being accused of sexual misconduct.
However, Sonya Deville has shared her experience in a candid interview on “The Aerial Helwani Show”, where she described her journey with WWE, her potential future with MMA, and drew the comparison between McMahon’s and Triple H’s regimes. During her interview on “The Aerial Helwani Show,” Sonya Deville shared her journey with Triple H and Vince McMahon. Deville, who has ended her contract, said in the interview: “There's pros and cons, but at the same time, as talent, you're not affected too much by it. I guess it didn't affect me that much. I feel like I had a good relationship with both of them. I feel like Triple H has things planned further in advanced probably.”

She further added about Vince Whereas, Vince was very much like, if something better came up that day, he would change it, but I respect both because I see the kind of genius in both." Deville continued to explain that she also didn't notice many differences from a talent perspective when Endeavor merged WWE and UFC in 2023. "Not really. I mean, not on my end. Everything kind of felt the same because nothing really changed on our end."
Deville also mentioned that Triple H who has been a full-time professional wrestler, can very easily relate to WWE talents, and understand the gruelling schedule of the company that continues every week.

Though Deville will no longer be seen in the WWE events, the wrestler however will be active in the professional wrestling ring. As per reports, Deville has also changed her name. The wrestler whose original name is, Daria Berenato, will be known as Daria Rae for her upcoming wrestling bookings and bouts.
Previously, the WWE champion competed as Daria Berenato in both MMA and WWE Tough Enough before adopting the name Sonya Deville in NXT in May 2017.
