Giulia is Ready to Face-off Against Old Rival: Title for Title Match Ready for Take Off at NXT Roadblock

The NXT Roadblock event is upon us, and one of the biggest events of the night will see a title-for-title match between the NXT Women’s champion, Giulia, and the NXT Women’s North American champion, Stephanie Vaquer. This will be a rematch between these two powerhouse wrestlers after a year-long wait. With both being two of the biggest names in the WWE women's division, the upcoming match is predicted to be one of the best so far.

NJPW to NXT: Giulia vs. Stephanie Vaquer will be hard-hitting

The last time these two women faced off against each other was at the NJPW Strong Women's Championship. Stephanie Vaquer won the title against Giulia that night, and then both of them made the transition to sign with WWE under the NXT brand. Now they are ready to face off against each other for the first time since they joined the promotion, and fans are buzzing with excitement to see who will take the title home.


Giulia posted on her X (formerly Twitter) account, remembering the night she lost to Vaquer. But this time, the Japanese wrestler is ready for the fight and will not go down easily, especially given her title is on the line. It would be the same for her opponent, who would want to prove her worth. For fans, though, it will be one of the best fights so far and will give us the champion of the champions from the WWE women's division.

The two titles will NOT be unified after the match

Unlike most title-for-title matches, this one between the NXT Women’s champion and the NXT Women’s North American champion will be a bit different. Whoever wins the match tonight will hold both titles moving forward. The two titles will not be unified into one, and instead, the winner will hold both championships. Stephanie Vaquer, though, is least interested in titles and is in it to win it. Talking on Busted Open, she said:


“Maybe it’s weird, but for me, it’s different. I [don’t] think in championships and titles, where [it’s] more bigger or no. I just want to be the best... If [to] be the best, title, more title, more big title, it’s okay. But I want to be the best. My focus is being the best. I know that Giulia’s title is so important. My title, too. But I try to focus on match [with] Giulia and win. Not just about the title. It’s about who it’s the best.”
Both women are heavy hitters in the game, and it will be a spectacular show that will take the night to the next level. This night in Roadblock is ready to become a defining moment in the WWE women’s division, and we can't wait to see how it all turns out to be.
