John Cena is one of the marquee WWE superstars of all time who has been associated with the company for more than two decades. He has garnered much fame in the world of entertainment wrestling and significantly gained prominence in Hollywood too, apart from the WWE ring.
After having a successful 25-year career in WWE, the superstar is set to begin his Retirement Tour in 2025. According to WWE, Cena will be available for the whole of 2025 in his farewell tour and will be a part of several foreign tours and big PLEs.
As the road to WrestleMania leads through Europe, reports suggest that John Cena will be part of this journey. On Monday, WWE’s social media page in the UK revealed that John Cena is coming to Brussels, Glasgow, and London in March for WWE RAW.
However, after the Cenation leader bids his final goodbye to the ring, fans are speculating what will be the next step for the WWE champ. Let’s find out the road ahead for the wrestling superstar–

John Cena’s WWE retirement tour

Following RAW’s debut on Netflix in January, John Cena revealed that his 2025 retirement tour and an unknown number of matches. With his recent Royal Rumble performance, upcoming participation in the Elimination Chamber match, and three European dates, Cena has approximately 30 appearances remaining on his current deal.

As per reports, Cena will open his RAW European set in Brussels on March 17, 2025. The following week, he will be in Glasgow on March 24, 2025, before heading to London on March 31, 2025.
Speculations suggest that he could wrestle on one or all three of RAW’s upcoming overseas shows, which speaks about Cena’s farewell will be nothing but full of promotional work for his final matches at events like WrestleMania 41, marking the end of an era.

The career path ahead for John Cena

The road ahead for John Cena seems interesting as the wrestler has plans to juggle his career between wrestling and acting. In an interview with ‘Club Shay Shay Podcast’, Cena revealed his plans with WWE and his wish to stay connected to the company even after retirement.

He stated: “I have such a trustworthy relationship with them, over two decades. I am a champion of the brand. I love the company, it is my home, they are my family. Even after 2025, I have already signed an extension to remain a member of the WWE family for the near, mid, and long-term future.”
“I don't think there will be a beat of my heart where WWE doesn't come out of,” said Cena in the podcast about his potential association with WWE, after his retirement in 2025.
Over the years, the Cenation leader has not only carved his name into glory in the world of entertainment wrestling but is a famous acting and TV personality in Hollywood too. Besides wrestling, John Cena has also tried his hands at acting too. He has appeared in popular Hollywood movies like Fast 9, Bumblebee, and Ricky Stanicky.
As per reports, after leaving WWE John Cena will continue acting and pursue other projects, including his DC Comics show Peacemaker. The show, as well as Cena, had a pretty great season one to start the story of the anti-hero, and now the director James Gunn says that he is ready for season 2 of Peacemaker.
Speaking in a press event, the director of Peacemaker season 2, James Gunn said: “Peacemaker is all done. I am deep in editing with that at the same time I’m doing Superman. It’s been really fun.” He further added about Cena and how he has improved so far in terms of acting and what he brings to the table.

Gunn stated: “I think he surprised people a lot in the first season with what he was able to do performance-wise. And the guy grew exponentially in season two. And he’s really incredible, as is the whole cast.”
Cena is an extraordinarily talented human being, who loves juggling between acting and wrestling. The wrestling superstar is currently busy with the greatest adventure of his wrestling career in 2025, but there is a potential career path waiting for him ahead.
