WWE superstar CM Punk having his heyday in the promotion with extraordinary promos and matches. After his recent brawl with Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match at WWE’s recent PLE, Bad Blood, the superstar has reportedly joined the cast of Ryan Prows-directed horror thriller Night Patrol.

David S. Goyer, Keith Levine, Josh Goldbloom, James Harris, and Mark Lane producing the upcoming movie.
Prows also co-wrote the script alongside Shaye Ogbonna, Tim Cairo, and Jake Gibson, which as per The Hollywood Reporter, wrapped principal photography in Los Angeles this week. The report also revealed that WWE superstar CM Punk will have a key role in the movie. “Audiences are not ready for how hard this movie goes. To shoot this script, with this cast, on location in Los Angeles, after such a long path to get here is nothing short of a dream,” Prows said in a statement (via THR).
The logline of the movie follows an LAPD officer (Fowler) who is forced to set aside his conflicts with local street gangs after uncovering a disturbing secret within a police task force. This hidden threat puts the lives of residents in the housing projects, where he grew up, in serious danger. Punk plays the sergeant’s brutal right-hand man in the movie. The movie is reportedly looking for a 2025 release.
In June this year, Punk signed with Paradigm for full representation, Deadline exclusively reported. The WWE star is aiming to expand his presence in entertainment. Punk, a legendary figure in professional wrestling, continues to make waves following his return to WWE and his guest commentator role at WrestleMania XL. He’s also appeared in popular shows like Mayans M.C. and Heels leaving a mark in the entertainment industry. He also appeared in indies like The Girl on the Third Floor and Jakob’s Wife.
