Popular YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, known as Flying Beast, recently took a playful jab at Shark Tank India after his pitch for his protein powder brand, Beast Life, was rejected on the show. In his latest vlog titled "Inke Gao Mein Deal Pakki Ho Gayi," Gaurav documents his journey across several villages in Rajasthan, where he successfully secured a business deal for his dairy brand, Rozier.
During his appearance on Shark Tank India, Gaurav asked for Rs 1 crore in exchange for a 1% equity stake in Beast Life. However, the Sharks expressed skepticism about his commitment to the brand, given his involvement in multiple business ventures. Anupam Mittal, one of the Sharks, even advised Gaurav to stop working on
YouTube and focus solely on his startup.
Undeterred by the rejection, Gaurav decided to prove his dedication by focusing on his dairy brand, Rozier. In his vlog, he travels to various villages to onboard farmers for sourcing milk from desi cows. The title "Inke Gao Mein Deal Pakki Ho Gayi" seems to be a pointed reference to his Shark Tank experience, highlighting his success in securing a deal despite the setback.
Through Rozier, Gaurav aims to create a community of farmers and educate them about the value of desi cows. He emphasizes the importance of fair compensation for farmers and the preservation of indigenous cattle breeds. Gaurav's hands-on approach showcases his commitment to making a positive impact on rural communities.
The internet community has responded with mixed opinions. While some applaud Gaurav's resilience and dedication, others question the sustainability of his approach. “Gaurav ur team did a good work by approaching farmers n educating them about desi cows proud of u,” commented one user.
“nice vlog! educating! farms like you make other fathers n do captive production ... can give us consistently quality product and farmers are motivated and uplifted economically. good work!” Said another user.
