This boost delivers quicker internet, smoother streaming, and generally improved mobile experience to millions of consumers. By launching its 5G Standalone network, EE is redefining connectivity. The boost is set to enhance everything from browsing and gaming to video calls and online streaming. People living in these 50 towns will now have next-generation performance, enabling faster and more reliable everyday mobile activities. EE plans to provide 28 million people 5G network coverage by the end of March


EE is further developing its 5G standalone network, providing faster, more consistent coverage to more than 28 million people in the UK. New and existing customers with an EE phone plan will feel the effects by the end of March. Introduced for the first time in September last year, EE's 5G standalone network is now poised to reach more than 40% of the population of the UK. The recent rollout extends to 19 more towns and cities, from Exeter to Doncaster, in addition to high-demand spots such as Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London, and Manchester. Chief Analyst at CCS Insight Ben Wood cites increasing consumer demand for AI-driven services that is compelling the adoption of more advanced 5G technology. With the rollout, EE is guaranteeing 95% outdoor 5G coverage in 50 areas.
