has unveiled Gemini 2.0, an advanced AI model designed for the 'agentic' era. This model powers AI agents—intelligent assistants capable of taking actions and executing tasks on behalf of users. Among its applications, Google introduced Jules, an AI agent that can independently code, diagnose issues, and resolve them, as well as Project Mariner, which can perform various tasks on the web.

Google launched AI Overviews – AI generated summaries on topics that require research. Pichai said that the company is bringing the capabilities of Gemini 2.0 to AI Overviews that have reached 1 billion people and continue to bring AI Overviews to more countries and languages over the next year.
