Indian-American engineer Vaniya Agrawal has publicly shared the resignation email she sent to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and thousands of colleagues following her protest at the company's 50th anniversary celebration on April 4. Vaniya Agrawal confronted Microsoft leadership, all the three CEOs of Microsoft – Satya Nadella, Bill Gates, and Steve Ballmer and also the company’s AI chief Mustafa Suleyman, during the event over the company's alleged role in providing AI technology to Israel's military. During the ceremony, she interrupted presentations by with accusations that Microsoft technology enables Israel's military operations in Gaza.

"50,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been murdered with Microsoft technology. How dare you? Shame on all of you for celebrating on their blood," Agrawal shouted before the security escorted her out.

In her company-wide email, Agrawal cited an Associated Press investigation revealing Microsoft's $133 million contract with Israel's Ministry of Defense. She called Microsoft "a digital weapons manufacturer that powers surveillance, apartheid, and genocide" and urged employees to sign the "No Azure for Apartheid" petition.
