Citing two sources with direct knowledge of the situation, news agency Reuters reported Tata's critical condition on Wednesday.

On Monday, Tata took to social media platform X to address concerns about his health after reports surfaced of his hospitalization. In a statement posted on his handle, he acknowledged undergoing medical check-ups due to his age.
