Samsung launches ‘Solve for Tomorrow 2025’: Prize money, how to participate and more
Samsung India has unveiled the fourth edition of its flagship initiative, ‘Solve for Tomorrow 2025’, aimed at empowering young minds to address societal challenges through technological innovation. The program offers Rs 1 crore in grants to the top four winning teams, alongside incubation, mentorship, and hands-on prototyping opportunities.
The program is open to students aged 14-22, encouraging them to develop solutions in four thematic areas:
  • AI for a Safer, Smarter, Inclusive Bharat
  • Future of Health, Hygiene, and Well-being
  • Social Change through Sports and Education
  • Environmental Sustainability via Technology

Participants will benefit from 82,000 hours of training in design thinking, business planning, and go-to-market strategies, enabling them to transform their ideas into actionable solutions.
Applications are open from April 29 to June 30, 2025. After a rigorous selection process, the top 100 teams will receive online training, followed by 40 semi-finalists advancing to an intensive mentorship phase, culminating in a grand finale featuring 20 finalists.
Prizes and Recognition
  • Top 40 teams: Rs 8 lakh each + Samsung laptops.
  • Top 20 teams: Rs 20 lakh each + Samsung ZFlip smartphones.
  • Special awards include Goodwill Award, Young Innovator Award, and Social Media Champion, totaling Rs 4.5 lakh.

The initiative, in partnership with IIT Delhi, provides a robust innovation ecosystem with industry mentorship and access to Samsung’s state-of-the-art R&D labs. This global program has already engaged 3 million young innovators worldwide since its launch in 2010.
