Ekta Bisht is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian women's cricket team. She is left handed batswoman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler. She made her debut in International cricket on June 23, 2011, in Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) match against Australia in Billericay. She made her ODI debut on July 2, 2011, against Australia in Chesterfield and Test debut on August 13, 2014, against England in Wormsley. During ICC World Women T20 World Cup in October 2012, in a match against Sri Lanka, Bisht took a hat-trick in the last over restricting the opponents to a modest 100 runs for 8 wickets. India went on to win the match. Bisht, in one of the league matches of ICC Women World Cup 2017, claimed 5 wickets conceding just 18 runs in her 10 over spell. Her destructive bowling figures helped India thrash their arch-rivals Pakistan by a margin of 95 runs in a low score chase of 170.
