Soumitrisha Kundu and Adrit Roy starrer 'Mithai' tops the TRP charts

Bengali daily soap ‘Mithai’ continues to rule the TRP charts this week too. The show has been dominating the TRP charts for quite some time now. The fun quotient in the storyline and frequent twists and turns, have been working in favour of the show since its launch. ‘Mithai’ stars Soumitrisha Kundu and Adrit Roy in the lead roles and the actors share a crackling on-screen chemistry.
‘Aparajita Apu’, starring Rohaan Bhattacharjee and Susmita Dey has sustained its usual spot on the TRP charts this time. It is in the second spot. Just like protagonist Mithai, bubbly Apu, has also paved her way into Bengali household.
Comedy drama ‘Khorkuto’ is in the third spot. The story of Mukherjee family and their happy-go-lucky bahu Gungun, kept the audience glued to the television screen with their story. The light-hearted comedy also enjoys a good fan base.
The fourth spot is under the possession of ‘Krishnakoli’ and ‘Jibon Saathi’. Interestingly, ‘Jibon Saathi’, which features Diya Basu, Sayan Karmakar, Indrani Dutta, Shrabani Bhunia in prominent roles, is back into the top 5 club after a long time.
‘Jomuna Dhaki’, on the other hand, is in the fifth spot this time.
Among non-fiction shows, ‘Dance Bangla Dance’ scored quite well on the TRP charts. The latest season welcomed Bollywood actor Govinda as a judge alongside actors Jeet and Subhashree Ganguly. Ankush Hazra and Vikram Chatterjee are co-hosting the show.
