Dipankar De, who tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend
Dolon Roy, has been hospitalised today (January 17) due to illness. The veteran actor was suffering from breathing-related issues. He was rushed to a private hospital in Kolkata, sources suggest. He is currently under observation.

and 49-year-old Dolon tied the knot yesterday (January 16) in a private ceremony. The actor, who is equally successful in film and television, was in a live-in relationship with Dolon for several years. Finally, they decided to tie the knot. The function was held in a city hotel. A number of celebrities from the entertainment industry and close friends of the couple, attended the ceremony. Dipankar wasn’t feeling well since a few days but he didn’t want to postpone the wedding. Finally, on Friday his health deteriorated and he was rushed to a private hospital in the evening.
Dipankar is one of the finest actors of Tollywood. He has also done a number of television shows including ‘Koler Bou’, ‘Kanak Kakon’, ‘
Bhojo Gobindo
’ and others.
Dolon, on the other hand, is presently busy with the shows ‘
Alo Chhaya
’ and ‘Anyo Jashoda’.
