Sophia Bush responds to online engagement rumors by flashing bare fingers

The star from One Tree Hill, aged 41, talked about the online rumors circulating on TikTok that she and Harris, aged 38, are engaged through a series of Instagram Stories posts on Saturday, May 25. "I hear the internet is going crazy? I don't have any 'news' for you," she wrote in the first slide, alongside a picture of herself in a green blazer, showing her left hand in a peace sign in front of her face.
In the photo, all her fingers except her thumb were visible, and she was only wearing a thin ring on her pinky finger, not an engagement ring."But wouldn't you want to put your hands in her jacket if you could??" she continued, mentioning her athlete partner. "(Just to clarify, you can't because boundaries, but I'll do it for you because I'm just that generous)."
"I just want to hug her tight," Bush continued in another slide, showing a picture of the Love, Victor actress embracing Harris, with her hand inside her partner's jacket as the retired soccer player smiled at the camera. "I understand it's new for you all to see me so happy and so present. It's new for me too. How fortunate am I," Bush added in another slide with the previous photo of the couple. Bush's final slide on the topic showed her hand making a peace sign while holding luggage. The only ring on her finger was a pinky ring. "I hope TikTok can chill now. Safe travels, friends," read the text over the photo.
