“Dhruv is the kind of man every girl would want to marry—charming, responsible, and deeply devoted to his mother, which is something I personally relate to,” shares Hitanshu. His character’s journey is centered around his love for Isha and his determination to marry her, though, as with any gripping drama, the path to love is anything but easy.

The show is an adaptation of a popular South Indian series, and Hitanshu is hopeful that it will evoke the same emotional depth with Hindi audiences. “When I got the role, I started preparing immediately, focusing on Dhruv’s mannerisms, tone, mindset, and overall personality,” he explains. His commitment to the role is evident, as he delves deep into the character to bring authenticity to his portrayal.

Having played a similar role in Sandiip Sikcand’s production, Hitanshu believes Dhruv stands out due to his complex and layered personality. His introduction in the show is powerful, but the longevity of his character ultimately depends on audience reception and the show’s ratings. “If the character connects with the audience, the makers might extend his arc. My focus is on delivering my best performance, and the rest is up to the audience and the creators.”

Speaking about his collaboration with producer Rahul Tewary, Hitanshu expresses admiration for his work ethic. “I’ve worked with Rahul before, and even after all these years, he remains the same—professional, sharp, and witty.”

With Ram Bhavan already creating buzz, Hitanshu is excited to bring Dhruv Shukla to life on screen. “As an actor, my approach has always been to put in immense effort to make a scene look effortless—that’s the everyday challenge, and that’s how we grow.”
