Marathi TV can’t compete with Hindi TV’s reach, says Pankaj Vishnu

He is a well-known face on Marathi and Hindi television, but Pankaj Vishnu reveals that his first playground as an actor was children’s theatre and stage still remains his ‘first love.’ Pankaj, whose character is quite popular in TV show ‘Lek Mazhi Ladki’, is also doing three Marathi films. “I’m looking forward to my forthcoming flicks ‘Chandoba Chandoba Bhaglaska’, ‘Ohh My Ghosts’ (OMG) and ‘Grey’.”
Since he is doing a lot of Hindi as well as Marathi TV shows, one wonders where do his priorities lie? To this the actor says, “When it comes to commercial success, reach and money, Hindi TV wins hands down.I was totally taken aback when I was mobbed in Dubai after ‘Pavitra Rishta’. Marathi TV has some fantastic content and actors, but it can’t compete with Hindi TV when it comes to reach. So, being a part of these two different zones, I have the best of both the worlds.”
