Kaavya announces her sudden exit from TV show Pandian Stores; Lavanya to play Mulla now?

Actress Kaavya Arivumani has officially announced her exit from the popular show Pandian Stores. Although rumours were rife that she has left the project, Kaavya maintained silence on this topic. Interestingly, an update on who will be the next Mullai Yaar is also out. Sources suggest, actress Lavanya is likely to replace her in Pandian Stores.

The TV series, which revolves around four brothers and sisters, has successfully aired over a thousand episodes. This series got a huge reach among people within a few days of its launch. The main reason for that is VJ Chitra, who played Mulai's character. She was paired opposite Kumaran. The chemistry between the two worked out as well, and the series also got a good response. But unfortunately, actress VJ Chitra died by suicide in December 2020. This shocked not only the fans but also the actors of the Pandian Stores series. It was a major setback for the series as well.

After this, Kaavya Arivumani was the one who was roped in by the makers to play the role of Mulla. In a few months, the Kaavya-Kumaran's jodi was also welcome by the audience. She has posted on Instagram that the last day she acted in the Pandian Stores series was on the 14th of last month and thanked everyone for this beautiful journey. However, she did not reveal the reason why she quit this series.
